Mining engineer. Wesley P. Goss was born in Garland, Kentucky in 1899. Following graduation from the College of Mines, University of California, Berkeley, he worked for United Verde in Jerome. From 1937-1943, he was Mine Superindentent at O'Kiep mine in South Africa. In 1944, he joined Magma Copper Company in Arizona, eventually becoming President and General Manager of Magma's San Manuel Copper Corporation. From the description of An interview with Wesley Go...
